Rooms were recently renovated and spacious, with beautiful old architecture and serene views of the hills. Staff provided excellent service, especially at breakfast, which had plenty of options. Good location for attending concerts at nearby Queens Hall and a quiet stay away from traffic noise. Accessible for most but those with mobility difficulties may struggle with stairs. a hidden gem worth discovering.

During my recent stay in the Newington area, I found a lovely hotel that provided a comfortable and enjoyable experience. The location was ideal, with easy access to the bus stop on Dalkeith Road in less than 5 minutes and a short walk to the historic center of the city. The room was spacious and well-maintained, with a large bathroom that had a separate shower and bath. The service was excellent, with friendly staff who were always ready to assist. The highlight of my stay was definitely the breakfast, which offered a delicious array of continental options and a satisfying full English. the hotel provided a great base for exploring the diverse and vibrant neighborhood.

I did experience some issues with noise during my stay, as there were guests who were noisy until late at night.

The location of the hotel was very convenient, with easy access to the city center via the nearby bus link. the hotel was located close to a beautiful park, perfect for a leisurely walk. The bistro in the evening offered delicious food, and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable, providing helpful information about local attractions. The room was clean and comfortable, with a comfy bed and a TV with a DVD player. The breakfast selection was fantastic, with a range of options to choose from, including cereals, a full English breakfast, various breads.

The soundproofing in the rooms was not the best, as conversations and noises from adjacent rooms could be heard, which affected the quality of sleep.

We loved the location near Old Town in a university housing area. Cleanliness was perfect, and breakfast had a great selection. Transportation was convenient with a nearby bus stop for the airlink300 bus to the airport. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Lovely staff - so welcoming and really helpful with sorting maps for me ! Really comfortable room and bathroom with toiletries. Great breakfast options. Not in the city centre but only about a 20-30min walk, or a bus stop just across the road will get you there in no time.

During our weekend stay, we were really surprised by the experience at this campus hotel. The room we were allocated was one of the largest and best rooms in the hotel, with a spacious bathroom and a separate shower. The settee and large double bed added to the comfort and convenience. We also appreciated the attentive staff during our meals and the delicious food they served. the hotel's location near Holyrood Park and with a regular bus service right outside made it easy for us to explore the city and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

This could be challenging with mobility issues or heavy bags.

I had a fantastic stay at this luxurious hotel. The room was spacious and well equipped, with comfortable beds and a good selection of amenities, including a TV and a refreshing shower. The location of this place was perfect, situated in a lovely quiet area and within walking distance of many of the city's attractions. I was very impressed with my experience here.

I had a great stay here! The location was perfect for me as it was inside the university campus. There was no real reception, which I liked because it made it feel more personal and not like a big hotel. The room was very comfortable and had everything I needed, like free Wi-Fi and an electric kettle. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, from the warm greeting I received from the late check-in receptionist to the breakfast staff and check-out staff. I also really enjoyed the continental breakfast at the dining restaurant.

This place was a bit expensive, but I still recommend it to my family.
